Ekiti State: Elections Tribunal Retains PDP Governor

The gubernatorial elections tribunal sitting in Ado -Ekiti today declared the People's Democratic Party candidate, Engineer Segun Oni winnner of the 2009 controversial election re-run in Ekiti state with a small margin. In a split decision, majority members of the tribunal claimed that the PDP candidate, Oni defeated Action Congress candidate, Kayode Fayemi with 3,000 votes.
